SD Gundam #1
Introduction
Wow, what is there to say about this Gundam? Besides the fact that I have absolutely no idea what its name is, and that I think it’s pretty cool –that’s all. I received this kit from a “Super Extravaganza Package” that I had ordered from GundamStoreAndMore.com (http://www.gundamstoreandmore.com). Basically, you get 10 random SD Gundams of the staff’s choice (luckily, they loved me) to build for a nice price of $28.99 (holiday package deal). It was definitely not something to turn down, at least I didn’t. And interestingly enough, I’m happy I didn’t miss out on this must-grab.
Construction
Hmmm… What could honestly be said about this kit? Well for one, it had a surprising amount of articulation which I found to be a plus. All of the parts easily snapped / clicked into place, and didn’t fail stay where I put them. Although the decals / stickers that came were plentiful, I felt they really set the tone for the kit all together — unlike other kits which I’ve built in my childhood past. So I’d have to say altogether, it was nicely done on Bandai’s part.
Paint / Panel-Lining
I felt there was no need to panel-line a SD kit, being as to how I figured the stickers would be enough –so there wasn’t much of this being done. However, I did apply a bit of red and yellow on the sword for this Gundam. But not very much.
Decals
Ah yes! The stickers all together were nice and easy to apply, in my opinion. There weren’t any complex areas, which I’d have to use tweezers to apply. And as an added bonus, the stickers all stuck nicely in place after I applied them there.

Final Rating of Kit (Overall): 9.0 / 10
I thoroughly enjoyed building this nice, little, kit from start to finish. Everything from the nice articulation, down to the nice placement of decals made this kit shine. I’d suggest obtaining your own copy of this magnificent SD Gundam, if I knew the name. So sorry folks, I can’t help you there. But all and all, this is definitely a kit worth looking into if you can tell what it is by the design / box art.
